I want to copy sheet1 to a new sheet2 and then when the data changes on sheet1 I want sheet2 to automatically update. The reason is I want to able to hide some rows and columns on sheet2 to obtain a better print format.

I was going to use INDIRECT however it appears I would need to manually enter this in each cell.

Thanks,
Mike

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
.
.

Try this macro, which MUST be placed in the code module for Sheet1:

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
  Me.Cells.Copy ThisWorkbook.Worksheets("Sheet2").Range("A1")
End Sub

gpeacock - thanks for the reply, but I was able to solve the problem, by opening the original workbook, and coping all sheets to a new workbook, then saving that as xlsx. Worked perfectly!
