Very strange behavior here. I have a new laptop from work. On my old laptop, when I copy a range from an excel sheet (control-c) and paste what is held on clipboard into a different location in the workbook (different location in same sheet or into a different sheet), the chart(s) are retained and pasted into the new location using control-v.

On my new laptop, only the range data is pasted into the new location but the charts are not.

I feel like there is an option to ensure charts are copied and pasted but I can’t seem to find it. Also, copilot says excel cannot do this even though I am doing it with my old laptop!

Any thoughts?

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Figured it out - click on option to “Cut, copy, and sort inserted objects with their parent cells”.

Pretty absurd that copilot said it could not be done
