Hello,

I have two separate workbooks - nearly identical - that I would like to copy the information from one cell and paste it into another cell within a different workbook.

So, for example:

Copy cell A1 from sheet 'Numbers' in workbook titled 2018 and paste it into workbook titled 2019, sheet 'Numbers' and cell A156
&
Copy cell A14 from sheet 'Letters' in workbook titled 2018 and paste it into workbook titled 2019, sheet 'Letters' and cell A186

Thank you in advance for your help.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Try this:
I did the first request.
You should see how I did this and you should be able to do the second part.
Both Workbooks must be open
Code:
Sub Copy_Data()
'Modified 8/8/2019 2:17:08 PM EDT
Workbooks("2018.xlsm").Sheets("Numbers").Range("A1").Copy Workbooks("2019.xlsm").Sheets("Numbers").Range("A156")
End Sub

I had some new developments...

The 2018 workbook has 100+ tabs.

So, I have created a 2019 workbook that has the same number of tabs with the same titles as 2018.

I would like to copy multiple cells from 2018 (A4, B18, C86, C88 & D1) and paste them into a different cell (A4 in 2018 gets pasted into A5 in 2019, etc.) in the corresponding tab in the 2019 workbook.
