I'm using a custom web browser in my stocks & shares Excel workbook, it opens to a specific page based on the shares currently entered in the main sheet, and displays any RNS releases for those shares, everything is working fine with one minor annoyance........ cookies
all the time i'm using it, at some point it throws this dam cookie popup warning, asking "if i'm a private investor" etc etc etc, it's actually f'ing annoying, because it even gets around the "i dont care about cookies" plugin i'm using in chrome! it then kills all navigation on the page, and forces interaction, and then fully reloads the page in the excel web browser which is just irritating and time consuming.

so what i'm looking to do is be able to inject a suitable replacement cookie at the opening of my web-browser, directly from vba and to suppress that annoying popup.
I have tried grabbing the cookie, it seems to set 2, and here's their content....
any thoughts or help appreciated.
It looks like it's dropping into the default IE cookie location....
\Users\******\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
