Converting ISO date format to MS_readable

I get data that uses a date format (YYYYMMDD) [no hyphens/slashes].
There is no conversion tool (that I can see) for getting this into something that MS-Excel and Access can recognize.

Hello and welcome to MrExcel.

Select the dates, Data > Text to Columns. Click Next twice and on the third screen tick Date and select YMD then click Finish.

Seven years later it still works! My ISO dates had dashes in them and it still formatted the way I wanted it to. Thanks - I have been trying for three days to find an answer.
