I have DBF files created using a program that uses an old 256 character set, when I try to open these files in Excel XP they are converted to Unicode and displayed incorrectly.
Is there a way to tell Excel to use an older character set when importing these files?
I tried making a macro to convert the characters for me, but apparently the Visual Basic Macro Editor itself does not support Unicode.
