Converting four currencies

Hello,

I have created a spreadsheet but what i am getting stuck on, is to work out how to do a real time cuurency conversion in four different rates.

For example in the Dollars tab i enter 1,000 in cell b1 i would like excel to work out the real time currency in sterling in the sterling tab in cell b1 and the same with the dirham and euros.

Would appreciate any help that can be provided.

I am a new User to excel and not sure how to upload my spreadsheet on here.

What is the conversion rate for each currency?

Is it a one way conversion, i.e. from US$ to other currencies?

Is the value to be converted always entered in cell B1, column B or anywhere on the sheet?

The sample file shows the same tables on all sheets. Are these tables part of the problem?

Please clearly explain all of the above and provide more details if something is missing.

The main currency will be in us dollars which i then would like it to convert into euros, sterling and dinars.

Apologies it is not B1, the values i want converted will be entered in Column b from row 7 to row 43.

That is correct the other tabs are the same at the moment because what i would like to happen is when a value is entered in B7 i would like excel to work out the respective real time conversion in the other sheets i.e. works out the conversion for euros and enters the figure in the euros tab in cell B1

You may try connecting to MSN MoneyCentral Investor Currency Rates (xl2007 and xl2010) and see whether this helps and then decide on how do you want to go about the whole exercise.
