I need some direction and some advice from the experts on this site.
I have an excel application that is rather complex that I would like to think of it as a black box. This box gives the user one output in the form of a text message. It tells the user to either fold, check, call, raise or go-all-in. It is a powerhouse box, based on some recent improvements, that informs online players how to proceed in Texas Hold'em. Currently, in its original form, the software is designed to run side by side with any online session of Texas Hold'em (where it is legal). The Excel package has a keypad to enter the cards revealed in the on-line session so that it can compute this output. This software, TH Genie, increases the odds for winning by about 5%, an unprecedented edge to increase long-term winnings.
I envision the black box sitting somewhere on a server and the iPhone app referring to it. The iPhone app also needs to have the capability of automatically entering the cards revealed on the on line session for a specific website address. The iPhone app would have one input box that asks for the website address and one output box indicating the recommendations after the pocket, the flop, the turn and the and the final card.
My questions are:
1) Is this approach doable or are there other strategies that are more appropriate?
2) Are there resources within Mr. Excel to do this?
3) Are there resources outside Mr. Excel that are recommended?
My apologies for not knowing where to post this?
