Hey guys, I have something I need help with.

I need to convert the following formula into an excel formula. Any help? I'll be honest, I don't fully understand this, it's from a website which converts football actions into meaningful statistics. The post is here: https://statsbomb.com/2014/06/introducing-possession-adjusted-player-stats/ With the formula below right at the bottom.

Tackles * 2/(1 + e^(-0.1*(x-50))), x/50 for x in

I might be talking absolute rubbish here, so shoot me down if needed.

Many thanks
Adam

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Well it is a formula without an equals sign! But the writer doesn't say what x is, and without x it doesn't mean anything (if it did in the beginning!)
