I have a MS Excel formula in a cell that I'd like to convert to VBA in order to use in MS Access. Would one you experts be so kind as to convert this formula into a VBA function.
Code:
=LEN(SUBSTITUTE(C3, " ", ""))
Thank you so much.

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Try:
Code:
ln = LEN(REPLACE([[I]SomeField[/I]]," ",""))

Thanks for your reply. Alternative methods are always nice to have, but there must be a way to translate this into VBA function. For example, what is the VBA equivalent of "LEN()" and what is the VBA equivalent of "Substitute()"?

Gratefully yours

Ok. I tried putting it into a function and it worked.

Code:
Function LPN(Text As String)
     LPN = LEN(REPLACE(Text," ",""))
End Function
