In D2, time was entered as text. It looks like this:

I have 0730-1200.

I need to convert text to time.

In E2, I need 07:30 AM

In F2, I need 12:00 PM

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
In E2:
=TEXT(LEFT(D2,4),"00\:00")+0

In F2:
=TEXT(RIGHT(D2,4),"00\:00")+0

Format cells as time
