I am having real trouble with this.

I have a table with percentages ie: 20.489560 and I want to convert it from text to a number with 3 decimal places. But every time I try, it rounds to zero decimal places and I loose my accuracy.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am trying to convert it from the design view of the table.

I am changing from text to Number, Decimal, 6 decimal places.

Try Single or Double rather than Decimal.

Just tried single and double.

Its funny because not only will it not show the decimal places, but it wont even show 6 zeros. Could they have been 'lost' when I brought them across and saved them as Text?

Is there a way to fomat all like excel?
