Hi, just being curious, are your table a series of several rows with only one column?
You could create relations in between two or more tables within the PowerPivot Window if set on Diagram View, it would just be a matter then to click and drag the identical fields from one window to another...

Sorry, I think a more knowledgeable member should give you better advise, I would be tempted to tell you that Pivot table do not handle well words, and your dataset contains no integer...

One of your relationships between Seg 3/Seg 4 is dotted which means it is inactive. If you double click on it there is a checkbox in the lower right corner to activate.

That might help with the slicer issue.

Think you are going to have to share your workbook (dropbox, google drive, whatever)

So, in this simple example it is hard to say what you WANT to happen, but I'll say a few things:
* relationships have direction.
* as setup:
the dimSegment table applies filters to dimSegment2 and dimSegment3.
the dimSegment4 table applies filters to dimSegment2 and dimSegment3
there is NO relationship director or indirect between dimSegment and dimSegment4.
* So, the slicer isn't doing anything because the slicer on dimSegment4[show_segment] simply doesn't filter anything on dimSegment... they have no relationship.

It's totally possible the "direction" of some of your tables in reversed -- hard to tell in this made up data.

Thanks for your direction, actually i have another way, but it will consume more data than the original one.
