I have a spreadsheet with 25,000 rows and about 500 columns of data
Many of them have formulas in them, such that, when an entry is made in the column of "how many to order", ALL the formulas will be affected.

That causes about a 2 to 3 second delay before the user can enter the next value.

Is there a way to control it such that, for instance, only the corresponding row and column are affected. Or possibly only those that are visible

Any kind of help is appreciated

The only way I can suggest, other than a macro, is to set calculation mode to "Manual" by clicking on the "Formulas" menu and clicking "Claculation Options" and then "Manual". The problem is that this setting will remain until you change it back to "Automatic". So if you want the formulas to calculate, you have to change the setting or click "Calculate Now".
