Perhaps you should specify what you expect this consultant to do, to give some idea of the work involved and thus the likely capabilities required in such a consultant. Is it some kind of Excel consultant you think you need?

The boards have been quite helpfull to my project, and I would like to take it further. I was just curious how much it would cost for one on one consultation.

To my sense the rates can be very different from one consultant to another. Just sending a few emails with an example sheet will learn you a lot.

Be aware that there are "charlatans" on the market: their solutions have a great lack of "robustness": example: insert a column: code doesn't work anymore... I would rather pay the double for a "lifetime solution". In general a clear contract before starting to work together will save you trouble.
