Consolidation option in Excel/VBA

Hello Friends,

Hope all are doing good...

I would like to ask one question regarding consolidation option.

I have to add duplicate contents with consolidation in same sheet. But "create link to source data" not working. I understood need to use new sheet for the answers if i use "create link to source data".
Is there any further options, that i can update data in same sheet.

Is there any link/program in VBA to implement the same?

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off

Hello Keerryx,

Thanks for the information. I have implemented the Pivot table, but now, same as consolidate, the pivot table data is not getting updated, if i make changes in master table.

Can you please help me, How we can do it?

2 things if the size of the source changes you may need to update the data source look under the PivotTable Analyze tab in excel
Use Refresh if source info is updated.

Not be default as far as I am aware , the only thing is you can set the file to refresh on opening.
