From what I recall every workbook I opened had this connection whether it had a data model or not

At any rate I cannot see it in ANY of my workbooks. The data models are there, but none of them have that anymore

I used to use it to increase the number of rows I could drill down on.

Any ideas on WTH is happening?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
This is an old post, but I'll leave a reply anyways.

This has occurred to me as well.

I fixed the issue by adding a random table as a connection and also to the data model. Once it was added the ThisWorkBookDataModel was now visible under the Connections tab.

You can now delete the random table that you added as it has served it's purpose.

Does this solve the issue?
