Hello,

I have question regarding downloading data from database in MySQL to Excel. For my colleagues I want to make application in Excel that connects to my tables in MySQL and download data. They will need to install my add-in and I do not want to bother them with installation of ODBC driver anymore. Is there any way or trick to download data from MySQL to Excel that does not require an ODBC driver?

I often download data on my own using ADO library and ODBC driver. However, for other people I want to make application that is very simple to install.

Thank you for your help,
