Hi all,

SORRY, I can't download the add-in needed to upload a mini-sheet, my laptop has admin rights set by my company and it doesn't allow any downloads.

I have an example data sheet with three columns Ticket Number (column a), Purchase Date (column b) and Group Name (column c):

In the pivot table I show the month the tickets were ordered, which group ordered them and the count of how many tickets ordered:

I know that there are 10 tickets in a book, and can see how many tickets each group buys.

How do I add another column (Column C) into the pivot table showing the actual number of books alongside the number of tickets in Column B please??

I am pretty sure it is something to do with Pivot Table Calculations, but have never done this before and am struggling to get it to work :(

Any ideas please you wonderful lot of people?

Thanks you SO much,
Cathy

Excel Facts

How can you automate Excel?
Press Alt+F11 from Windows Excel to open the Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) editor.
If could create a 'measure', by right clicking on the Table name in the Pivot Table Fields pane, then clicking 'add measure'

Give it a name, eg, Books, then in the Formula something like... =DIVIDE(SUM(Table1[Tickets]),10)

This will then add a new Field to you Table which you can add to your Values

Hope this helps.
