Hi All,

Im going to record a macro to light specific cells in excel using conditional formatting.

for example, I want all cells in the J column to be highlighted if they are above 20000.

The problem is is for some of the data it is split, so the combined values need to be combined if there are above 20,000.

So if the contents in A and B are the same, e.g customer and group and ALSO contents in column p/q are the same (currency)
, then I also went the J values to be highlighted if together they add up over 2000.

So if there are two separate transactions where A and B are 13, and 15k separately they cume up to 28k so should be highlighted but they wont be picked up in my normal method.

Appreciate any help

Regards

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Can you post a small data sample showing the different scenarios, and indicate which ones should be highlighted?
I think that will help clarify things for us.
