Conditionally formatting buttons in excel 2010

Hello, I have several sets of data and want to create a set of navigation buttons that conditionally format to a Red, Amber, Green colour dependent on parts of that data. Ideally I would also want to display a single number in the button too.

Any ideas anyone?
