Hi,

I have 2 columns, Column A with numbers in all 20 rows (forecast) and Column B with numbers populated as time progresses (actual).

In the total of Column A, I only want to SUM the number of rows that are populated in Column B, so I can get a proper Month To Date comparison.

So for example, I'm 2 days into the 20 day period, I only want the sum of Column A for those same 2 days.

I've tried to figure it out but can't seem to find a way. Hoping someone can help me please.

Cheers,
Pete

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
If the forecast data are in A2:A12 and the Actuals data in B2:B21 try:
Code:
=SUMIF($B$2:$B$21,">0",$A$2:$A$21)
