Conditional Statements With Different Color cells

Hey Gang,

Is is possible to create if-statements based on the color of a cell? I want to sum a column but omit cells that I shade in with yellow (or any other nifty color).

Thanks!
 
I'm just replying to point out that this has already been re-posted in the Excel Questions forum so someone doesn't point it out needlessly :smile:
