Conditional hiding or unhiding of columns in excel

I have a big excel worksheet. For easy data input I grouped columns. I want one of group to be open and rest to be hidden on the basis of particular entry in column L. One more thing, can the group + sign above column label be controlled by some button for easy working ? I will need six or more such button, one for each group.
Please help me in this regard.
