I want the recipient cell (I6) to equal the following statement: "Cable Median Barrier Repair" if the value posted to cell E10 on a worksheet identified as CANDIDATE SELECTION is "C". If however, the value posted to cell E10 is "R", then the recipient cell (I6) is to reflect the following statement: "Guardrail Repair (W & Thrie Beam)". If cell E10 on the worksheet identified as CANDIDATE SELECTION is Blank, then the recipient cell (I6) is also to remain blank.

Help is truly appreciated.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Assuming that if E10 is anything other then C or R you want to return blank then this should work
Code:
=IF(E10="C","Cable Mediam Barrier Repair",IF(E10="R","Guardrail Repair (W & Thrie Beam)",""))
