I have 2 columns. First column is Price I am currently charging customer I call it "Current Price". Let say A2 is in the Current Price and has a value of $13.00. Second column "Suggested Price" is what I need to be charging customer to make my proper margin. Let say its B2 is in the Suggested Price column and has a value of $16.25. I need to make $13.00 cell red in color because it is less than the value of the $16.25 cell. How do I do this and then apply that format to the entire "B - Suggested Price" column. Or can I change the color of A2 if that value is not 20% of the B2 column.

Conditional Formatting

Highlight applicable range >>
A2:A100 - Change, reduce or extend the rows to meet your data range of rows

Home Tab >> Styles >> Conditional Formatting
New Rule >> Use a formula to determine which cells to format
Edit the Rule Description: Format values where this formula is true:
=AND($A2 <> "" , $A2<$B2)

Format [Number, Font, Border, Fill]
choose the format you would like to apply when the condition is true
OK >> OK

Or can I change the color of A2 if that value is not 20% of the B2 column.
Yes , what exactly do you mean by is NOT 20%
can you give examples

20% of £16.25
=3.25
so do you want to show below 3.25

OR if 20% below 16.25 ie 80%
= 13

and so highlight if A is below 80% of B

then
And( A2 <> "", A2 < (B2*0.8) )

A SMALL sample spreadsheet, around 10-20 rows, would help a lot here, with all sensitive data removed, and expected results mocked up and manually entered, with a few notes of explanation.

This will possibly enable a quicker and more accurate solution for you.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data and will allow us to copy/paste your sample data into our Excel spreadsheets, saving a lot of time.

You can also test to see if it works ok, in the "Test Here" forum.

OR if you cannot get XL2BB to work, or have restrictions on your PC

then put the sample spreadsheet onto a share

I only tend to goto OneDrive, Dropbox or google docs , as I'm never certain of other random share sites and possible virus.
Please make sure you have a representative data sample and also that the data has been desensitised, remember this site is open to anyone with internet access to see - so any sensitive / personal data should be removed

Make sure you set any share or google to share to everyone
