Conditional Formatting

I have a formula in cell p2 which is =IF(AND($L2>0,$M2>0),1,"")
I have then typed in a formula in conditional formatting =if($p2>0) and the format should be that the row goes yellow.
I have formatted areas A2:P38
I either receive a message saying the formula is incorrect or it accepts the formula but nothing happens when the value in p2 becomes >0

The formula will always be greater than 0 as "" is text which is >0 try
