HI,

Newbie here, have formatted a table to grey out rows based on a condition on a column, but it has overridden my rag colouring, can anyone help? I have the if = to AR then format then this is for the lines - [FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]=$R10="Yes"[/FONT]

That is the way Conditional Formatting works. If the condition is met, it will override any manual formatting you have applied and apply the Conditional Formatting (if there is any direct conflict between the two, i.e. they hare both highlighting the cell).

So I am not sure what you want to happen.

Yes.

If you wanted to exclude the 4th column, you could use this formula:
Code:
=AND($R10="Yes",COLUMN()<>4)

Brilliant, thank you, what if i wanted to omit 2 columns?
Just keep adding more criteria to the AND statement, i.e. to exclude columns 2 and 4
Code:
=AND($R10="Yes",COLUMN()<>2,COLUMN()<>4)
You can keep going with this to exclude even more columns. Just follow the same pattern.
