I am trying to highlight rows in if the values in column C and D contain an exact value from column ‘N’.

The Values in column are like below:
R1179555
R1180259
R1789852

So, if any rows in column C or D contain any of the exact values in column ‘N’ highlight the row.
For example: Value R1180259_hY88 exists in column ‘C’, as ‘R1180259’ exists in column ‘N’ highlight it.

Thank you

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

On the same row, yes? That is, given a row, if the value in N is in column C or D of that row then highlight the row?

Select the range to highlight

New Rule
Use a formula to determine...

=ISNUMBER(SEARCH($N1,$C1))+ISNUMBER(SEARCH($N1,$D1))

Thank you,

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I need it to search the entire column of 'N' for match if possible.

Highlight the rows from where to where?

OK

Code:
Col C Col D Col N
ABC JKL B
DEF MNO H
GHI PQR K

So what should be highlighted?

ABC, B is in column N
GHI, H is in column N but on a different row
JKL, K is in column N but on a different row

Thanks,

So row with ABC & JKL would be highlighted as B & K exists in column 'N', Row with GHI would be highlighted as 'H' exists in column 'N'.
