Conditional formatting

Assume I have to rows of data.

If A1 < A3, then highlight it.

I can do the above for one cell but how can I extend it so this rule applies if B1 < B3, C1 < C3, etc.?

Select A1:C1 etc

Try this formula in Conditional Formatting

=A$3>A$1

Try using Copy, Paste Special, Formats to copy the format from column A to columns B,C etc
