Hi,

I need to set up conditional formatting with 2 conditions.
1. If E14=Completed AND C14>=D11 THEN Color Cell Green
2. If E14 Does not =Completed AND C14<=D11 THEN Color Cell Red

Note - Cell E14 has validated values in a pull down menu. Cell D11 and C14 are both dates.

I've been working on this for a while, and can't figure out the correct if statements to get this to work.

If it would help to post a screen shot, then I can do that as well.

Can anyone help?

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
=(AND(E14="Completed",C14 > = D11))
format as green

=AND(E14 < > "Completed",C14 < = D11))
format as red

What happens if E14 <> "Completed" but C14 > D11
You're going to get a blank background.

Thanks for the quick reply. Really appreciate it.

If E14 < > Completed, but C14 > D11, then I want the cell to be red. So I need a couple of different rules then.

Also, I'm not sure I'm entering the formula in the conditional formatting box correctly. I keep getting at "use correct formula" pop up. I'll keep trying.
