Hello,

I am sure that once I see the answer I will feel silly even asking because I should know, but right now I can't figure it out. What I need is a formula to use for conditional formatting if 2 dates loan amounts are more than $20,000. In the example below, on 6/6/2022 the total loan amount is more than $20,000 and I would like those cells to be highlighted to show I made my goal for that day.

I'm sure there is an easy solution to this but right now my brain cannot seem to get there.

Thank you

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
if 2 dates loan amounts are more than $20,000. In the example below, on 6/6/2022 the total loan amount is more than $20,000
Those two sentences say two different things. Do you mean if the total loans for one date are more than $20,000?

Excel Formula:
=SUMIFS(F:F,F7,G:G)>=20000

Applies To range is F7:F? where ? is the last potential row containing data.

Change Jeff's @6StringJazzer formula to just SumIf (singular) and it should work.
SumIfs Plural has the parameters rearranged and would look like this:
Excel Formula:
=SUMIFS(G:G,F:F,F7)>=20000

Thank you, I started writing SUMIFS then realized only SUMIF was needed but forgot to change the function name. Too late to edit the post now.
