I created a report with a pivot table containing conditional formatting to highlight columns C-V when the formula in column U ="yes" and it works great. For work-ability for all users, I added four additional pivot tables (all pulling from the same data source) on the left that are empty save one item under the filter section. I connected them all them via slicers that are hidden off to the side. This allows them to filter data in the report through drop down/typing a name vs scrolling through a slicer.
Everything works as it should when you filtering through the different drop downs, but the conditional formatting will hold for most items and partially for the rest (i.e. columns C-D vs columns C-V). If you scroll through the data after you filter, the formatting will eventually continue across. It's doesn't seem to be linked to a processing delay because it will kick in immediately when scrolling, but won't if you just let it sit for an unlimited amount of time. I have +70 people who access this report (some more skilled in excel then others) and would like it to display properly without causing any confusion.
I wish I was able to post pictures to show examples.
I'm wondering if anyone else has rigged a report like this and figured out a way to get the formatting to work as it should.
