Hi there,

Greetings from Denmark :)

I need help to complete this case/file, I do for my local sports club.

So here is what I need.

When a new player has to be entered into the sheet. A team is assigned by selecting a team from the drop list in "select team" Column.. So fare so good

"Profile"
So when a team is selected, then we would like the profile to be auto filled(red/green)
There are 3 profiles: Main, Team 1, Team 2

So when I select, "Team 1" for a new player, the profile(red/green) is automatically filled to the right in the "calendar"

Can u help me here???

To add to the complexity I have added conditional formatting to the hole "profile" area.
Text = yellow fill of cell.

Are booth options/formulas possible at the same time ?

I also hope that I made my self understandable

Best regards

Stefan

Welcome to the Board!

Your image attempts appear to be unsuccessful. There are tools here you can use to post screen images. They are listed in Section B of this link here: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/board-a...forum-use.html.
Also, there is a Test Here forum on this board that you can use to test out these tools to make sure they are working correctly before using them in your question.

Damm. Sorry

I am not able to figure out what's wrong. I see the pictures here.

Issue simplified:
The cells in column B, has a dropdown list. 3 options(profiles)

So when an option is selected, I would like that cells in the row are auto filled. with the profile matching the option.

The 3 options and profiles I have in TAB2 same worksheet.

So I will try once more to poste it again here:

I cannot see your images, and am unable to download or file files on the internet from those locations (my corporate security team blocks all those sites).

However, it sounds like you may want to use VLOOKUP functions, that look up the selected value in a lookup table, and return values from that record.
