Hello,

I am working on a report that I need to have work exactly like a bank statement would. If the next number of my sequence is not the previous number +1 then I need to have it be highlighted.

Here is an example.

Check #1 (No shading because it is the first check)
Check #2 (No shading because it is the next in sequence)
Check #4 (Shaded to distinguish it as being out of sequence)
Check #5 (No shading because it is the next in sequence)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know how to format based on its value but I don't know how to reference the previous check #

Thanks for any help.

iggysdarsa,

I think you have the wrong forum. This is an Access question, not an Excel one.
