Dear experts,

In once cell, when I enter text INR (ex. A1 Cell), the other cell (ex. A2) should change the properties to Currency format taking INR symble for the amount entered.

In other words, A2 cell has to change the currency property, with reference to the A1 cell when I enter a specific Text into it.

Regards,
Murali.

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Sir,
Sorry for the delay,
No the conversion is not required, but the cell should change the property to INR currency,
if I enter text USD into A1 cell the amount which I enter into A2 cell should show the symbol of $,
If I enter text EURO into A1 cell the amount which I enter into A2 cell should show the symbol of euro
