Conditional formatting mixes equal up

Hi, it seems to be a small thing but can’t wrap my mind to it.

I have 2 columns.

One has a formula resulting in a number. The other one has plain numbers.

I need to use 3 colors for
Greater than (green)
Smaller than (red)
Equal to (yellow)

I know to use =value(b1)=value(a1)

But where the greater and smaller work fine. When both columns have equal numbers (one a true number and the other a formula) it randomly colors it green, red or yellow.

Has anyone a suggestion?

Thank you very much!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Depends on your formula, but if the plain number is 3 the formula might be returning 3.1, or 2.9 with the cell formatted to show 3.

You could use
=A1=ROUND(B1,0)
Where B1 is the cell with a formula
