Conditional formatting format: Boarder - bottom boarder

The problem when I insert a raw in the middle of the table the condition formatting is not applied. How can I make excel carry over the conditional formatting?

The only reason I formatted the data in a table because it'll automatically control alternating row background color when insert rows.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi tarek,

What is your Conditional Formatting formula?
Is it the one Jonmo1 and I gave you earlier?

If it is, then it should work, when you insert a new row.......

Excel Workbook
ABCDEF
1NumbersData1Data2*Check*
235155976CatRed*FALSE*
335156348DogYellow*TRUE*
435156348PigGreen*TRUE*
535160550CowBlue*TRUE*
635160550RatPink*TRUE*
735160550CatOrange*TRUE*
835160550DogBlack*TRUE*
935161189PigWhite*TRUE*
1035161189CowPurple*TRUE*
1135161201RatBrown*TRUE*
1235161201CatGrey*TRUE*
13******
Sheet1

New row inserted......

Excel Workbook
ABCDEF
1NumbersData1Data2*Check*
235155976CatRed*FALSE*
335156348DogYellow*TRUE*
435156348PigGreen*TRUE*
535156348HorseTartan*TRUE*
635160550CowBlue*TRUE*
735160550RatPink*TRUE*
835160550CatOrange*TRUE*
935160550DogBlack*TRUE*
1035161189PigWhite*TRUE*
1135161189CowPurple*TRUE*
1235161201RatBrown*TRUE*
1335161201CatGrey*TRUE*
14******
Sheet1

You will see that the cell reference has automatically increased from $A$2:$A$12 to $A$2:$A$13

Does the data you have added in the new row meet your Conditional Formatting rule?!

Sorry Akashwani for not including all the information in my post... here is issue:
I have a set of data formatted in a table: (Main Ribbon – Insert – Table – Create Table), I am also applying the following conditional formatting on my range:
Conditional formatting formula: =NOT($A2=$A3)
Conditional formatting format: Boarder - bottom boarder

The problem when I insert a raw in the middle of the table the condition formatting is not applied. How can I make excel carry over the conditional formatting?

The only reason I formatted the data in a table because it'll automatically control alternating row background color when insert rows.

Thanks in advance for your help

Using your formula and a table I cannot replicate your problem, sorry, the Conditional Formatting has been applied.

Sorry, but I cannot give you an answer to this problem.
