I want to add a formula into the control source for a text box (or somewhere else) that will turn the number red or something if the number turns out to be greater than or equal to 16. Is there a way to do this? For example:

Label textbox
Jason: 16

The 16 should change because it's equal to or greater than 16.

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
If you are using A2K or above you should be able to use Conditional Formating to do this.

I'm not sure what A2K is? Can you provide me with an example of how to do what I'm asking? Thanks!

Access 2000 or AxcessXP Access2003 all should let you use Conditional formating.
cleck inthe control that you want to use, the from the toolbar select Format and then Conditional formating, this will let you set conditions and formating.
