Hi,

I am trying to create a conditional formatting rule which highlights rows based on whether the quantities in two cells within the row match:

Column E contains the cost invoiced.
Column J contains the amount paid.

If both these quantities are the same, I would like the row to remain normal, however if these quantities do not match, I would like the whole row to be highlighted.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Tried that formula VoG, but it didn't work. It highlighted all cells apart from a few.
I tried the following formula, which seems to work: =IF($J1<E1,1,0)
However, I realised I forgot to mention that I only want the rows to be highlighted if column E and J don't match AND if there is a 'Y' in column I. Can somebody help with this?
Thanks!
