Conditional formatting formula

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to write a conditional formatting formula, but can't seem to get it right.

I am trying to apply CF if the cell to the right starts with "aa"

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Assuming the cell you want the condition in is A1, then the following is the formula: =LEFT(B$1,2)="aa".
