Hello,

I want to have the following conditional formatting done:

If there are any dollars in cell BR3:BR25 and BM3:BM25 has numbers greater than 3, I would like the cell to format Red.

I tried AND(BR3>0,BM3>3) and entered in cells BM3:BM25. To test, I entered 5 in cell BM3 and $100 in cell BR3 but the cells in BM3:BM25 all turned Red?

Any help?

Thank you

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Works fine for me. Have you selected BM3:BM25 before setting the condition? Are the values in the two ranges (BM3:BM25 and BR3:BR25) numbers or text?

Hi JoeMo,

Thank you for your response. To answer your question,

Have you selected BM3:BM25 before setting the condition? Yes

Are the values in the two ranges (BM3:BM25 and BR3:BR25) numbers or text? BM is Number and BR is Currency.

My entire column BM3:BM25 returns to all Red even when the cells are blank.

Any suggestions?

Thank You

Wish I could help, but I can't reproduce your problem.
