Conditional formatting challenge

Hi,

I want a conditional formatting if statement that does the following:

note - All cells to the right of it (B1, C1, E1 etc) should match column A

if B1 is blank, don't change the color, BUT if B1 doesn't equal A1 (if a cell value is entered), then make the fill red color

I then want this to apply to a bunch of rows but hoping the formula will know to change the field if I drag it down.

Any help please

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. The formula kind of works.
For example
Correct value is 30 (cell A1), Cell B1, C1, and D1 should only show red conditional formatting if those cells are let's say are not 30. So for some reason. the cell to the left is highlighting in red and not the cell with the wrong value. C1 has 29, then B1 highlights in red (which shouldn't, because it's value is 30, matching A1)
