Hi!

I've been posting here a lot lately and I appreciate all of the help. I have my brain in a bit of a knot on this one, and I'm not sure if what I want is possible with conditional formatting.

Basically, if this formula finds an #N/A value, I don't want the conditional formatting to do anything, but if it finds a value, I want it to highlight the cell. Just need to know how to writhe the formula:

=VLOOKUP(B3,'Quarter Lookup'!B:C,2,0)

Thanks!!

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Let's say that formula is in cell A1.
Then use this Conditional Formatting formula:
Excel Formula:
=NOT(ISNA(A1))
and choose your desired formatting color.

I'm actually trying to use that formula within the conditions of the conditional formatting. Is that possible?

I tried this but it's not doing anything as far as formatting as I'd like it to. It's not formatting at all.

Code:
=NOT(ISNA(VLOOKUP(B3,'Quarter Lookup'!B:C,2,0)))

Is something like this possible? I feel like I'm on the right track but I'm getting stuck!
