Hi All,

I have 2 rows. In the first row I have every day of the month. With a conditional formatting to highlight the cells if the date is today.
So far no problem but...
In the second row I have data that should be highlighted if the cell above is today.
How can I do that with a formula?

Thanks in advance

Kind regards

Al

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
When you click on cond format, the 1st window "Manage Rules" has an option "Applies to", use this to select the range you want to apply the rule to.

Hi gaz_chops,
Thanks for your reply. Do I have to copy the formula to apply the condition?

Kind regards

No you should just apply the cond format to the range you want it applied to.

So if your dates are in A1:Z1, apply to $A$1:$Z$2

Hi Again,
I can't figure it out.
My dates are in A2:AE2 (days in May)
What I want to format (Conditional format) is A3:AE3 based on the values in A2:AE2

Kind regards

Your formula for cond format should be
=A$2=today()
then apply to $A$3:$AE$3
