Hello.

I have a table in excel, and in this table there are 52 columns starting at column i.

The intention is that, when someone places the letter "C" into a cell, then the cell 6 spaces away will highlight based on conditional formatting.

So, if cell i4 contains the letter "C", then O1 will then highlight based on the conditional formatting.

I have tried to google this, and all the AI derived answers simply do not work.

What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Select O2 to last column/last row & use this formula
Excel Formula:
=I2="C"
