Windows 10, Excel 2010: How do I conditionally format the range A1:A100 to format for the cell value of "UNK", or "Unk" or "unk" using the OR statement?

=OR("UNK","Unk","unk") does not work.

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Select A1:A100

In Condtional Formatting use this formula

=OR(A1="UNK",A1="Unk",A1="unk")
or
=(UPPER(A1)="UNK")

Why not just =$A1="unk"

It is NOT case sensitive, so it would be true for Unk and UNK as well as unk.

Or instead of using a formula in CF, use
format only cells that contain
Cell Value
Equal to
unk
