Conditional format

Hi I need some help please!

I have 3 cells - A1 contains a value; B1 contains a value; and C1 is to be formatted with a RAG status colour.

If(A1>B1) then C1 should be filled green
If(A1=B1) then C1 should be filled amber
If(A1 <B1) then C1 should be filled red

Just set up multiple Conditional Formats.

For the first one, select cell C1, go to Conditional Formatting, choose the formula option and enter this formula:

=$A1 > $B1

and choose your green color option.

Repeat the process for your other conditions.

You will need to make multiple rules in conditional formatting

use the formula in conditional formatting and select the green formatting

=A1>B1

use this and select amber formatting

=A1=B1

your formula got cut off but I am assuming you want to test if A1 is less than B1 and select your formatting

=A1 < B1
