February 1 has an Excel serial number of 43497. (fairly easy to figure out)
Made a simple calendar based using the day function. =day(43497).
Just copied it as necessary using the previous day +1
All is fine.
Trying to use Conditional Formatting for today. It works, but when I apply it to the other cells, they also highlight.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Jim

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
What am I doing wrong?
Would help if you told us which formula was used in your CF rule :confused:

Try this formula instead (amend cell reference)
=A1=DAY(TODAY())
