Hello Excel Gurus:
I have a chart with X-Y data that is filterable by date using a pivot table. The date is not displayed on the table, but is used to select the data that does show up. My question is, is there a way to color the cells on the chart based on the date that is selected, say one color for 2015, another for 2016, etc? I would then like to have a small legend that shows the color coding. Thanks for any help any of you can provide - it is much appreciated.
